This has been my practice for over ten years but in the last two months I have had two negative phone interactions with different GPs with one calling me four hours after being told he would call; then telling me Ive not seen you before his excuse for not reading my records. Yet he was the GP who had actually referred me to the hospital after examining me a month previously.Today I was seen 45 mins late by the paramedics practitioner, examined, agreed a plan and left. Three hours later a GP called attempting to change that plan based purely on her prediction, when challenged by me with no aggression other then irritation Im told I really dont like being spoken to like this. What a patient asking why you felt the need to call a sick person to change a plan that didnt need changing. Three stars based on history and support. The GP is not always right people, politely stress your point, yes they work hard for the average 58,000 a year plus kick backs.Disappointed.
Received absolutely brilliant service this week. Saw Dan first on Monday with eye problems. Suspected GCA so full check, blood tests, arranged scan, started on high dose steroids and seen by an Optometrist all in the space of a few days. Must also thank Dr Finnegan for sorting out additional drugs and tools up.I am so grateful and impressed. Thank You
