Such a great little garden shop. Took the kids for a pumpkin and scarecrow search and they had so much fun. Prices are reasonable and is just set outsourcing nicely. Doesn't feel like you are going to a run of the mill garden centre which is great!
This is a lovely privately owned nursery. Everyone is extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. I bought several mature trees and was given excellent advice. Delivery was prompt and the trees were in great condition.Would fully recommend going along and having a look around.

Hugely disappointing. After passing their signs 'Local Plant Nursery' and 'Rare Plants' on many occasions when passing through Oxford we decided a few weeks ago to make the 2 mile diversion from the main road to see for ourselves. The site is rather pleasant and wraps around an old house although it is cramped and was very muddy after recent rains; but it is a nursery after all. The plants were by and large of good quality and all were adorned with big shiny Bunkers Hill labels although there was no indication and no way of knowing how many were home grown and how many bought in. But the prices were frankly astonishing and we are completely baffled by their claims to be less expensive than normal. We buy many, many hundreds of pounds worth of plants every year from a very wide range of sources nationwide and know the horticultural trade backwards. Believe me, most of these plants are very expensive. Oh yes, and we did not find anything 'rare'; but rarity I suppose is in the perception of the retailer.
Purchased some bare-root Raspberries and a bare-root Red Currant from them via their eBay store, and they were swiftly delivered, packed perfectly, and they're all sprouting lush green foliage now. I'm really pleased with this purchase, and I look forward to seeing these plants fruit-up in the next few months. Thanks guys, I hope to have an excuse to drop by your store in person one day.
