We asked for a packing, dismantling and re-assemble service of the Beds and Wardrobe and moving services. Not everything was re-assembled, therefore I asked for a refund for a non-provided service, and it didn't happen. I strongly do not recommend this company.With the previous services from Mondial movers we had a similar situation and they were much cooperative and understanding. For more details, that is what happened: first someone came to assess everything we had to move and the job that needed to be done. Next we agreed on a moving date and we paid for everything upfront. The day of the packing went very well. Next day of the moving some damages were done on the handrail of the stairs (we thought it would be ok, not to make a fuzz about that). Next, more damages happened on the walls at the entrance of the new home, again we told the guys that it was ok, not to worry about it. Out of the 3 beds that needed assembling one was forgotten, when we realize we thought it was okish (it's relatively easy to do and we can do it ourselves). The wardrobes were all dismantled and one needed to be re-assembled. First the guys didn't dare to re-assemble it, so it didn't happened at the same day we agreed. Luckily, we had days off so to do it another day was ok with us. Next day another guy came and he realised two things; first that it was too difficult to build and put the wardrobe in the room making almost impossible to put it there and second it was a bit too narrow to fit it there. So we agreed on not building it. I asked for a refund for the job that didn't happen, even the guy working for them agreed that is a fairfrequest, but the company didn't want to. On top of everything we are missing one box with our sleeping pillows. In my opinion they are not trustworthy enough.
I would strongly advise against using Headington Carriers. We decided to use this company as they were slightly more expensive than competitor quotes and we believed they would take care of our furniture. However on moving their removal men dropped and damaged our mahogany bed, which was previously in pristine condition. Not only were we dissatisfied with the quality of the repair (even the removal men who tried to return it agreed they would not be happy with the repair that had been done), but the bed was further damaged whilst being stored in their warehouse. As we had not taken photos of every corner of our bed in advance of moving, theyre claiming this was not their fault. I cannot emphasise it enough do not use this company the customer service is truely appalling and they take no are over your personal belongings.
