Couldn't fault the meal. Perfect in every way. Surprisingly, for such an up market gaff, they did not offer little mints, chocolates or biscuits with their coffee. Really odd. Penny pinching perhaps?
OK so a number of things give this a two star rating. The steak, which was well cooked, and tasted great. The staff who were freindly but a little stretched.Bad pointsThe chips were undercooked and swimming in oil near the bottom of the container, the bacon sprinkled over the lettuce tasted a bit cheap and depspite being seated before other groups we were served later, making our dinner last around 1h40m for just two courses.My partner also noted some of the food on her main plate was barely warm apart from the steak.If you just want steak, you'll be OK here.
This is not the first time I have eaten here. That was over a year ago. On that occasion the food was not well cooked. However on this visit I am pleased to report that the surroundings, staff and food were first rate. Very good value for money and well worth a visit.
Visited with my parents and my two children. The meals were generous and delicious. I normally order my steak medium-rare however our server Paula suggested I have it cooked medium and explained why this would be better. I was dubious but went with the recommendation and they were absolutely right! Beautifully decorated, great quality, value and service. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you for looking after us
Today we ate light, but can recommend everything! We normally go to the Poole branch, but so nice to know that you can go other Miller & Carter branches and still receive the same wonderful experience. Great friendly staff!
